Long Discontinued

Joe bought this vise back in 1968 when he first started tying flies.  In those days this tough and heavy tool sold for the grand sum of $6.50, which is about $36 in current dollars.  Featuring a cast clamp/stem, there is nothing adjustable.  It just holds the hook.  Long discontinued, any vise from a contemporary manufacturer should be able to better this warhorse to be taken seriously. If old reliable turns out to be a better tool than a new contender then you shouldn't even consider spending your money!
